We are super excited to introduce the first cohort of our Builders for Change Product Fellows πΒ
These fellows will be working on products currently being used to teach thousands of students from low-income backgrounds across India. They come with a diversity of experience and interests. We are looking forward to all the amazing things that they will be building to create a positive impact in the lives of students and teachers. Cheers to an enriching learning journey over the next 6 months.
Manya Kalra (Product Engineer Fellow)
Manya is a pre-final year student pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Delhi. She has always wanted to work with a diverse group of people. Like every good coder, she obsesses over productivity and is always looking for more efficient ways to accomplish her goals. She is excited to use her skills to contribute to our mission.
Saloni Choudhary (Product Engineer Fellow)
Saloni likes to describe herself as a smart worker, a team player and a persistent individual. She enjoys brainstorming ideas and using her coding skills to make prototypes out of them. She is a dog lover and an avid traveler. Her wanderlust has taken her to almost all corners of India - from Andaman to Sikkim and even undiscovered places like Sethan and Jabalpur. She is a patient person who believes that hard work always opens up a world of opportunities.
Gurleen Kaur (Product Engineer Fellow)
Gurleen is pursuing her Bachelors from BIT Mesra. She is a Web3 connoisseur and has a knack of identifying and solving problems efficiently. She is a multitasker - managing, breaking and making awesome stuff, acing through college and internships, all at the same time. She has been interested in the social impact space, building projects to contribute to some really pertaining issues and is pumped to build a deeper experience through the fellowship.
Priyansha Jha (Product Design Fellow)
Priyansha is a 4th year Product Designer, from The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. She developed a keen interest in the field of design and research in her Sophomore year and loves solving problems through design. The design principles she swears by are - bias for action, not taking any shortcuts, thinking big and disagreeing and committing. She believes design is about creating meaning full experiences and is a collaborative effort. She has worked with three organizations as a UI/UX intern in the space of Travel, Healthcare and Government Land Record. In her free time she likes to paint and dance. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and loves watching thrillers :)
Our fellows will be sharing about their journeys regularly. So, watch out for it and tag along in the ride! :)
